A leader in Aboriginal Community Controlled Residential Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Services, their award winning culturally appropriate programs have helped thousands of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal clients get well, recover and return to their family and communities as active members. The Glen and Hartcorp have been partnering since 2019 and in this time have delivered some amazing projects across their sites that will provide long-lasting social benefits and important services to the community.

Project Highlights:

• Successful delivery of the design and construction of The Glen for Women being a new 20 bed Aboriginal Community Controlled Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre for women based on the Central Coast. Hartcorp was the client-side Project Manager responsible for the delivery of the $9 million Federally funded project from development consent to Practical Completion.

• Successful completion of The Glen for Men Expansion Project Business Case. The project valued at approximately $19.4 million will upgrade the existing 36-bed facility and add 36 transition beds, increasing capacity to 72 beds. Hartcorp’s responsibility included developing the detailed business case with concept design, sub-consultants' reports, town planning, BCA compliance, engineering, bushfire and ecological assessments, stakeholder engagement, and budgeting.

• Project management and delivery of early works projects from the business case and developed master plan. These include the full refurbishment of existing buildings in preparation for the main construction works including the office, eight-bedroom transition house and two-bedroom isolation house.
